The Young Professionals of Inforum & PAETEC invite those who aspire to greatness in business to perspire a bit on the dance floor too June 24th, 2008 at Vincente Cuban Cuisine in downtown Detroit. Join hosts Dana McAllister and Margarida Martini starting at 6:00 PM for networking, socializing and dancing with complimentary Cuban and Spanish tapas from Vincente and dance lessons from professional salsa troupe Xtravaganza.

Inforum's Young Professional Group was created to promote the business, social, and community service of rising women executives and is hosting this event to to highlight the beauty of the Cuban and Latin culture by showing life through dance, music, and food. The event runs from 5:30 -- 7:00 PM and afterwards participants are free to stay for dinner and Vincente's Friday night salsa night.

What could be better than dancing till twilight to salsa on a warm summer night? Top of the Park, Ann Arbor's most beloved summer event presents a night of music and dancing on the steps of Ingalls Mall to the sounds of Grupo Salvaje and Tumbao Bravo. Started in 1983, the Top of the Park is just one of the events in the Ann Arbor Summer Festival which has become a signature event attracting over 60,000 people between June and July each year.

This is a great outdoor event pretty much guaranteed to be fun for everyone -- dancer or music lover. Since salsa is a street dance, be prepared with the right shoes as the dance surface will be concrete. Dance sneakers like the Blochs work great. The night starts with Tumbao Bravo at 7:00 PM and runs till 11:00 PM including a 2 hour set from one of Detroit's finest, Grupo Salvaje.
