FREE tickets Raffle for Aurelio Martinez at University of Dayton Boll Theater on Saturday, September 16th.

A sensation at the 2006 Cityfolk Festival, guitarist and singer Aurelio Martinez gets the World Rhythms Series off to a flying start with this performance at UD's Boll Theatre. Following in the footsteps of the legendary Parranderos from the Caribbean coast of Central America (he hails from Honduras), his music is an enchanting blend of African and Latin acoustic roots. Recently named newcomer of the year by AfroPop Worldwide, this extraordinary vocalist and his powerhouse band are taking the irresistible sound of garifuna around the globe.
